Page 2 of 8 made a getaway. Rajkumar C. Basantani was a member of NSE and was the broker through whom the entities involved in the fraudulent scheme operated. He had also been Chairman of SIL which made fraudulent announcements and was allegedly instrumental in the entire fraud orchestrated by SIL.
Page 3 of 8 is also confirmed by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) reports as mentioned in the investigation report of SEBI that physical share certificates relating to bonus shares were not dispatched. Had there been any intention to come out with the bonus shares, they would have complied with due procedure. Thus, it can be safely inferred that the bonus shares were never allotted/dispatched to shareholders .
