Subsequently, the investigation in the matter was completed and suitable actions against the entities including those to whom directions were issued in the interim order were initiated. I note from the investigation report that the said 317 second level entities identified in the interim order were used as conduits by ASL, its promoters and other related entities. Since, the said 317 entities were restrained from buying, selling and dealing in the securities of ASL vide order dated July 29, 2009 and the said direction is still continuing, no further action has been contemplated as against these entities pursuant to the investigation.
