In this regard, SEBI undertook an enquiry to ascertain whether PPIL had made any public issue of securities without complying with the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956; Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (hereinafter referred to as “SEBI Act”) and the Rules and Regulations framed thereunder read with SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as "ICDR Regulations").

For the remaining Noticees viz., Shri Mohammed Jiaur Rahaman, Shri Abu Sama Molla and Shri Ashraful Hoque SEBI, vide notifications each dated November 06, 2018 published in newspapers viz., ‘The Statesman’, ‘Bartaman’ and ‘The Sanmarg’, it was notified that SCN dated November 29, 2017 was issued against them and they were given 21 days to submit their reply in the matter.
