The information disseminated on October 13, 2015, pertaining to Branch Expansion is an information that is not generally available information in terms of Regulation 2 (1)(e) of the PIT Regulations. 4.2. The information related to Branch Expansion is a price sensitive information that is not generally available which upon becoming generally available, materially affected the price of the securities and is an information relating to expansion of business. Therefore, the information related to the Branch Expansion before it was published on the website of the Exchanges, is an unpublished price sensitive information (“UPSI”) in terms of Regulation 2 (1)(n)(iv) of the PIT Regulations. 4.3. From the chronology of events provided by DCB it is alleged that the information related to the Branch Expansion had come into existence on September 19, 2015, as on this day a meeting of various business unit heads and support units was held and impact of new bank licenses was discussed along with brain storming for the way forward. The aforesaid is also observed from the minutes of the meeting wherein it is stated / recorded that “New Branch Strategy” and impact of new bank licenses were discussed in the meeting. Based on the same, it is alleged that the UPSI period is from September 19, 2015, to October 13, 2015. 4.4.
