In the facts and circumstances, it was alleged that the Broker violated the provisions of Regulation 4 (a), (b), (c) and (d) of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices Relating to Securities Market) Regulations, 1995 (hereinafter referred to as the PFUTP Regulations) and Clause A(1), A(3), A(4) and A(5) of the Code of Conduct specified under Schedule II of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992 (hereinafter referred to as the Broker Regulations).
