Since the Noticees had failed to make necessary disclosures in accordance with regulations 6(1), 6(3) and 8(2) of SAST Regulations, it was alleged that the Noticees had violated the provisions of the said regulations and therefore, liable for monetary penalty under section 15A (b) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (hereinafter referred to as “SEBI Act”).
