Page 4 of 6 12. It is very evident from the manner of trading that the Noticee bought the shares at a lower price and immediately sold them at a much higher price, thereby earning profit. It is observed from the material on record that the Noticee had earned profit (Table II) in the trades he reversed. Such a pattern of trading cannot be justified by any reasoning. The Noticee has himself stated that he is a small, retail investor, but the trading pattern is quite unnatural for a retail investor. The Noticee cannot even take a plea of acting as Jobber. In fact, the reversal of trades in such short span is not a normal trading pattern at all. Further, I fail to understand that how a small investor can trade in a scrip in such a manner and can attribute this as normal course of trading.
