It was found that the average price of the scrip of TCL at CSE was Rs.23.50 on January 01, 2004 and it went up to Rs.322 on August 03, 2004, thereby witnessing manifold rise within a period of 7 months. The said price rise did not appear to be normal and was alleged to be as a result of money laundering by a colluding group of persons.
