Shri Umesh Choukekar (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Noticee’) was one of the entities alleged to have violated the provisions of Regulation 4(1), 4(2)(a) and 4(2)(e) of the SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices relating to Securities Market) Regulations, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘PFUTP Regulations’) for which the instant proceeding has been initiated and therefore, the Noticee is liable for monetary
Page 3 of 10 and penalty, as prescribed be not imposed under Section 15HA of SEBI Act for its violation of the provisions of Regulation 4(1), 4(2) (a) and 4(2) (e) of PFUTP Regulations. However, the said SCN was returned as undelivered. Subsequently, the SCN was duly delivered through ‘Register Post with A/D” at the available address. The acknowledgement for the said SCN is available on record. The Noticee did not file any reply to the SCN.
