It was found by SEBI that during period under investigation, Bimlesh Kumar Mishra (chairman of SCCL) along with Govind Somani, erstwhile promoter and earlier director of the SCCL, and some other entities connected to Govind Somani, had together sold a large number of shares of SCCL in the market after the said false and misleading corporate announcements which were allegedly aimed at creating an artificial market in the scrip and which appeared to have resulted in a spurt in the price and traded volume of the scrip. It was observed that the said clients had traded through Shri Girish B. Shah, a sub broker (SEBI Regn. No. INS 011748113) of VSE Stock Services Limited, during the period under investigation.
