Page 2 of 18 2. The role of the brokers, sub-brokers and their clients who had traded in the scrip was scrutinized. It was observed during the investigation that certain entities had indulged in synchronized reversal trading/fictitious trading in the shares of AEL in such a manner that led to creation of artificial volume and impacted the price of the scrip. The entities found to have been involved in the alleged manipulation are as under:-

Page 4 of 18 SCN. However, the proof of delivery of the said SCN was not received. Therefore, another SCN dated July 03, 2008 was reissued to the Noticee. However, the proof of delivery of the same was also not received. Hence, the SCN was reissued to the Noticee on February 25, 2010 and sent for delivery through SEBI Western Regional Office, Ahmedabad. Mr. Piyush Jhaveri, husband of the Noticee, collected the said SCN on behalf of the Noticee from Western Regional Office of SEBI on March 02, 2010. However, the Noticee did not reply to the said SCN.
