Adjudication Order in respect of Mathura Devi Daga Page 2 of 2 In the matter of trading in illiquid stock options at BSE

Noticee and determine whether penalty under Section 15HA of the SEBI Act is liable to be imposed upon the Noticee. Accordingly, in terms of Rule 4(1) of the Adjudication Rules read with Section 15I of the SEBI Act, a notice to show cause dated 31/08/2021 (“SCN”) was issued to the Noticee calling upon her to show cause as to why an inquiry should not be held against her in terms of Rule 4 of the Adjudication Rules and penalty be not imposed under Section 15HA of the SEBI Act for the aforesaid alleged violations. The SCN sent to the Noticee was duly served on the address of the Noticee via SPAD. Vide order dated March 17, 2023, the instant case was transferred to the Undersigned.

4. Vide email and letter dated 10/07/2023, one Ram Awatar Dhoot has informed the Undersigned that Noticee Mathura Devi Daga had passed away on 02/03/2017. I note that a notarized death certificate dated 02/03/2017 issued by Health Department, Kolkata Municipal Corporation bearing certificate no. 0090921 is available on record which mentions the date of death of the Noticee as 02/03/2017.
