Page 2 of 49 Adjudication Order in the matter of Infibeam Avenues Limited (hereinafter referred to as “UPSI”), on multiple occasions leading to breach of trust and loss of faith in their internal processes and systems. Noticee 1 had also admitted that emails containing financial information had either been forwarded to the personal email IDs of team members or inadvertently forwarded to some email ID of their other client, Mr Hiren Patel. On conclusion of investigation, SEBI observed violations of the provisions of PIT Regulations and SEBI Act by Noticee 1 and certain other entities. Therefore, SEBI initiated adjudication proceedings against these entities for violations of PIT Regulations and SEBI Act.

Thereafter, in the interest of natural justice, an opportunity of personal hearing was granted to Noticee 1 on February 08, 2022 vide hearing notice dated February 02, 2022. The aforementioned hearing notice was duly served on Noticee 1 through SPAD as well as through digitally signed email. On request of Noticee 1 made through email dated February 02, 2022, the hearing scheduled on February 08, 2022 was adjourned. Noticee 1, vide letter dated February 16, 2022, filed its reply to the SCN.
