Adjudication order in respect of Victor Peter Christopher in the matter of ITC Limited Page 2 of 18 Regulations by the Noticee. During the investigation, it was observed by SEBI that the Noticee was allotted Employee Stock Options by ITC. Pursuant to the above, the Noticee had exercised his options and he was allotted 15,970 shares by ITC on September 24, 2018. Subsequently, the Noticee sold the aforesaid 15,970 shares on October 01, 2018.It is further observed that the Noticee had also traded in the scrip of ITC in the derivative segment of stock exchanges.

SEBI/EAD-8/PM/VC/14289/2020 dated September 03, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as ‘SCN’) was issued to the Noticee under the provisions of Rule 4(1) of the Adjudication Rules, to show cause as to why an inquiry should not be held against him and why penalty, if any, should not be imposed on him under the provisions of section 15A(b) of the SEBI Act for alleged violation of the relevant provision of PIT Regulations.
