Securities and Exchange Board of India (hereinafter referred to as “SEBI”) initiated adjudication proceedings against Ashok Sharma (“Noticee 1”), Sailesh Jha (“Noticee 2”), Ecospace Infotech Private Limited (“Noticee 3”), Pincers Commodities Private Limited (“Noticee 4”), Cheroot Vanijya Pvt. Ltd. (“Noticee 5”), Darswana Vinimay Pvt. Ltd. (“Noticee 6”), Goldensight Commotrade Pvt. Ltd. and (“Noticee 7”) (hereinafter referred to as “the Noticees”) under Section 15HA of the SEBI Act, 1992 (“hereinafter referred to as the “SEBI Act”) for alleged violation of Section 12A (a), (b), (c) of the SEBI Act read with Regulations 3 (a), (b), (c), (d) and 4 (1) and (2) (a) and (e) of the SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices) Regulations, 2003 (“PFUTP Regulations”).
