Based on the aforesaid examination, Securities and Exchange Board of India (hereinafter referred to as ‘SEBI’) initiated adjudication proceedings in the captioned matter and appointed the undersigned as the Adjudicating Officer (AO) vide communique dated January 05, 2021 under Section 19 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (hereinafter referred to as ‘SEBI Act, 1992’) read with Section 15-I of SEBI Act, 1992 read with Rule 3 of SEBI (Procedure for Holding Inquiry and imposing penalties) Rules, 1995 (hereinafter referred to as ‘Rules’), to inquire and adjudge under Section 15A(b) and 15HB of the SEBI Act, 1992 for the alleged violations of Regulation 50(1), 52(7), 54(1), 54(2), 56(1)(a), 56(2), 57(1) and 60(2) of the LODR Regulations, 2015 read with Regulation 15(1)(c) and 15(1)(t) of the SEBI (Debenture Trustee) Regulations, 1993 (hereinafter referred to as ‘DT Regulations’).
