Adjudication order in the matter of SREI Equipment Finance Limited Page 2 of 16 APPOINTMENT OF ADJUDICATING OFFICER 2. To inquire into and adjudge the above mentioned violation of the Noticee, vide order dated August 05, 2021, the undersigned was appointed as Adjudicating Officer by the Competent Authority in exercise of powers conferred under Section 19 read with Section 15-I of Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (hereinafter referred to as “SEBI Act’’) and Rule 3 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Procedure for Holding Inquiry and Imposing Penalties) Rules, 1995 (hereinafter referred to as “SEBI Rules”) to conduct Adjudication Proceedings under Section 15I of SEBI Act against the Noticee for alleged violation of Regulation 51(2) of LODR Regulations read with Clause 4 of Schedule-III of LODR Regulations.
