SHOW CAUSE NOTICE 4. SEBI (Disclosure and Investor Protection) Guidelines, 1992 [GL/IP.No.1/SEBI/ PMD/92-93 dated 11th June, 1992 and amendments thereto] provide that share certificates issued to promoters, friends, relatives and associates, etc., which are under lock-in for a period of 3 or 5 years, as may be applicable, should carry the inscription ‘non-transferable’, so as to indicate their “locked-in”/”non-transferable” status.
