3. Accordingly, in terms of rule 4(1) SEBI Adjudication Rules read with section 15I of SEBI Act, the notice to show cause no. EAD-2/SS/VS/6745/BD/13/2019 dated June 04, 2019 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the SCN’) was issued to the applicant, by erstwhile AO, calling upon it to show cause as to why an inquiry should not be held against him in terms of rule 4 of the SEBI Adjudication Rules and penalty be not imposed under Section 15A(b) of the SEBI Act. The SCN was duly served upon the applicant.
