The AO issued a notice (No. SEBI/ADJ/DT/DT/178987/2009) dated October 07, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as ‘SCN’) to the Noticee in terms of Rule 4 of the Adjudication Rules requiring to show cause as to why an inquiry should not be held against it for the alleged violations.

The AO issued a hearing notice dated April 02, 2012 asking the Noticee to appear before him on April 17, 2012 which was duly delivered. However, the Noticee vide e- mail dated April 17, 2012, requested for the hearing to be fixed at Delhi. The said request was acceded to and a last and final opportunity of personal hearing was granted on August 06, 2012. The Authorized Representative of the Noticee appeared before me and reiterated the submissions as per their letter dated September 09, 2010.
