SEBI observed that Ami Computers India Limited (hereinafter referred to as 'the Noticee / the Company/ ACIL’) had failed to submit ATR within the stipulated time and also not redressed one investor complaint having SCORES registration no. SEBIE/WB13/0001091/1 pending against it with regard to non- receipt of shares after transfer. Thus, the Noticee has allegedly violated the provisions of SEBI circular ref. no. CIR/OIAE/1/2014 dated December 18, 2014 and is liable for monetary penalty under Section 15C of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (hereinafter referred to as 'SEBI Act').

Page 4 of 14 digitally signed e-mail advising it to submit its response to SCN before September 30, 2017 and to appear for final hearing on October 06, 2017. This letter was sent to three addresses of the Noticee: (1) Suite No. 10, 5th floor, Shanti Niketan Building, 8, CAMAC Street, Kolkata – 700017, (2) 60A & 60B, Chowringhee Road, Kolkata – 700020, and (3) Chowringhee Road, Sreepally, Bhowanipore, Kolkata, West Bengal – 700020. Copies of the SCN dated August 02, 2017 and the reminder cum hearing notice letter dated August 31, 2017 were also again enclosed with this letter. The reminder cum hearing notice dated September 22, 2017 was delivered on October 04, 2017 at one of the aforesaid addresses of the Noticee: Suite No. 10, 5th floor, Shanti Niketan Building, 8, CAMAC Street, Kolkata – 700017. The Noticee vide its letter dated October 05, 2017 acknowledged the receipt of the second reminder cum hearing notice dated September 22, 2017. As the SCN and the reminder cum hearing notice dated August 31, 2017 were enclosed with the said reminder cum hearing notice dated September 22, 2017, it can be said the SCN and the hearing notice were duly served on the Noticee. In its aforesaid letter dated October 05, 2017, the Noticee inter alia requested for four weeks of time for hearing.
