In view of the above and considering the facts and circumstances of matter, the erstwhile AO opining that an inquiry should be held in the matter issued a notice of hearing dated December 05, 2017 to the Noticee granting an opportunity of hearing on December 15, 2017 in terms of rule 4(3) of the AO Rules. The said Notice of hearing was duly served on the Notice as per the India Post tracking details which is on record. The receipt of the Notice was also acknowledged by the Noticee vide its email dated December 15, 2017 vide which the Noticee also requested for the adjournment of the hearing. Considering the request of the Noticee, the opportunity of hearing was granted to the Noticee once again on January 15, 2018 vide Notice dated January 1,

It is noted that the Noticee was communicated vide the said Notice that no request for adjournment would be entertained and if the Noticee fails to appear for the hearing on the said date, the matter would be proceeded on the basis of the material on record.
