Monthly reporting by Portfolio Managers
Summary
SEBI mandates Portfolio Managers to submit monthly reports using a revised format effective from October 2010. The reporting obligation requires uploading data by the 5th of the following month on the SEBI Portal. This circular exercises powers under Section 11 and 11A of the SEBI Act, 1992 to protect investor interests.

All portfolio managers are advised to upload the report in the revised format on SEBI Portal by the 5th of the following month with effect from the report for the month of October 2010 onwards.
The format for the monthly report on portfolio management activity has been revised as per enclosed Annexure covering Discretionary, Non-Discretionary, Advisory services and Complaints details.
