Cir/IMD/DF/15/2010 · 2010-10-22 · SEBI Investment Management Department

Summary

This SEBI circular modifies previous guidelines regarding the consolidation or merger of mutual fund schemes. It establishes that such mergers are not considered changes in fundamental attributes if specific conditions regarding the surviving scheme and unitholder interests are met. The process requires approval from AMC Boards and Trustees, followed by filing a proposal with SEBI for observations.
