Summary
SEBI defers the implementation of a new reporting format for Offshore Derivative Instruments and Participatory Notes following representations from Foreign Institutional Investors. The first monthly report under the new format is scheduled for July 2011, submitted before August 7, 2011. However, the additional undertaking associated with the new format must be implemented starting from the April 2011 reporting month.

it has been decided to defer the implementation of the new reporting format
the first such monthly report shall be submitted for the month of July, 2011 before 7th August, 2011
the additional undertaking shall be implemented from the reporting month of April 2011 onwards
The old reporting format continues till the reporting month of June 2011
