Publishing of Investor Charter and disclosure of Investor Complaints by Research Analysts on their websites/mobile applications
Summary
This circular mandates all registered Research Analysts to prominently display the Investor Charter on their websites and mobile applications. It requires Research Analysts to disclose monthly complaint data, including those received via SCORES, in a specified format by the 7th of the succeeding month. The disclosure requirements under this circular became effective from January 1, 2022.

SEBI has developed an Investor Charter for Research Analysts containing details of services, rights, responsibilities, and grievance handling mechanisms.
All registered Research Analysts are advised to bring the Investor Charter to the notice of clients by prominently displaying it on websites and mobile applications.
Research Analysts shall disclose all complaints including SCORES complaints in the format mentioned in Annexure-B on a monthly basis.
Research Analysts are advised to display link/option to lodge complaint with them directly and link to SCORES website/app.
The disclosure requirements under this circular shall come into effect from January 01, 2022.
This circular is issued in exercise of powers conferred under Section 11(1) of the SEBI Act, 1992 read with Regulation 33 of the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014.
